It's good to know that this stuff works!

I am very fortunate that I have customers that are as crazy about fishing and spinners as I am.  Many of my customers have been good enough to forward pictures of their experiences.  I have added this page to my website to share their successes and maybe give others some ideas for patterns that might work in their own fisheries.  Enjoy!

Secrets Revealed

Greg from Idaho had some more good luck
on the Nehalem and sent a photo of the spinners that were hitting fish.  I had a feeling there would be some red and white involved in the success.  Thanks Greg.

Bait Rigs-Summer of 2012

Picture
I had talked to a few of my customers about the success I had in my silver fishing over in Seward this past August using the #3FB blade in front of my herring.  The image at top left shows how I rigged it--the beads are 5mm size, the blade is a #3 FB hammered gold with a chartreuse tip.  This set up was, by far, the favorite of the fish in the image bottom left.  We did get fish on plain bait and spinners but this rig was the go-to consistently over a week long fishing period.  It even worked on the mooch when we stopped the boat on a hook up and worked baits on the batches of fish around the boat.  I did not have any other colors with me to try but I would of liked to have tried the green, red and orange as well to see if any of them worked as well or better than the chartreuse.  Definitely worth a try.

Buoy 10 Sucess

Jim from Washington had some good fishing at Buoy 10 this summer.  I did not get any details on what the secret blade pattern was that boated the nice fish in this photo but I am determined to find out.  Thanks Jim.

Nice fish at Wheeler...

Picture
Greg from Idaho is at it again in 2012 at Wheeler on the Nehalem in Oregon.  A couple of nice chinook...
Dave,
When noone else was  catching anything I got the lucky hand using your spinners...one was 30#  one  was 41#...both got away from the seals.
  Thanx
If you are headed in the direction of the Nehalem, a good source for information and tackle is Jim at the Wheeler Marina.

Bead Fishing for Steelhead

Picture
Rob Crandall, owner of Water Time Outfitters in Oregon had some good success with the Ultimate Pink and Washout Pink beads for steelhead. "Thanks again for sending those beads!  The first day I used them was on Friday and they worked great! We hooked 7 fish that day and 5 were on your bead!".

Thanks Rob!

Barracuda

Rick from Texas went down to the Bahamas with an interesting creation and found some great success.  "The lure is made with 60lb teflon coated stainless steel wire with your beads, and blades..."  Looks like this place will have to be on my list of places to go.  Thanks for sharing the creation with us Rick.  Definitely one of the most unique success stories as far as species go...

Nehalem, Oregon

Greg from Idaho gets into kings and coho on the Nehalem River each season.  He fishes out of the Wheeler Marina, which is right on the river in Wheeler Oregon.  Spinners can be productive for both species and Greg gets around great in his drift boat.  His buddy Jim at the Wheeler Marina is on top of the bite so if you are thinking of going, don't hesitate to get in touch with him.  Jim's contact information is below.
