Hook Tubing Details

Picture
Over the years, the variety in hook tubing has increased to include a number of types of materials and a bunch of color choices.  The three that have been the most widely used are latex, semi-rigid plastic and PVC.  Of all of these, the PVC is closest to the perfect tubing in that it is soft but rigid enough that there is no movement of the hook while being fished as there is with latex tubing.  And, because of its combination of softness and rigidity, it is much easier than either latex or the more rigid "old fashioned" tubing that has been around for years.  I have recently moved away, entirely from latex and the old stand by plastic tubing, carrying only the PVC variety.  I have two new custom colors being made in a great fluorescent red and fluorescent green (see colors to the left) that are very bright and are slightly translucent so some light can pass through to brighten them up a notch.  Probably the best attribute of this material is that it is very resistant to UV rays and will not degrade or fade like the other tubing available.  As time goes on, I will be having every color I carry made custom to my specifications with some great color becoming available in the relatively near future.
One of the colors I am very excited about is a UV pearl white that would be a match to my favorite UV pearl skirts.  If it turns out like I hope, there may be a delay of one summer season before it becomes available...I have to have some sort of edge out there.  I am very excited about the opportunity to offer this new tubing  to you as we work on perfecting the spinner.  I am also proud to say that this tubing is made right here in the U.S.A.; with all the imported product out there, I strive to supply you with domestic products that keep our dollars at home.
